I think it’s wonderful that you’re writing about it to help process the experience. Writing is very powerful. I’m in the midst of writing my memoir, and though it’s not easy to write about past traumas and hurts, it’s liberating and gives us agency over our life circumstance. It helps me reframe the experiences and make sese of them.
